From Our ER

November is a time to reflect, it is a time to remember. We honor our Veterans and those who serve, we set aside a time to give Thanks. November is the opening of the holiday season, a time when most of us gather with our family to celebrate our good fortune. As we have already celebrated Thanksgiving, let's not forget those that are less fortunate. Try to get an Angel or two from the Angel tree. Try to visit a Veteran in a nursing home, write a letter or send a card to a Soldier serving over seas. Most of all keep those in our Armed Forces in your prayers.

December is a busy time for our lodge. The Hoop Shoot will be December 3rd, come on out and help. December 4th we will honor our departed brothers and sisters at 1 pm at the lodge, please come and honor those that are with us no more. I also want to encourage each of you to come out and visit the lodge. We have an exciting New Year's eve party planned with some great food. Get signed up and come out to enjoy, bring a friend.

Four Chairs

Another month has flown by. As a lodge, we have much to be thankful for. On December 4th we will pay tribute to departed members with a memorial service at 1 p.m. You are all invited to attend. These members helped to bring our lodge to the place we are today. Come celebrate their memory with us.

With Christmas just around the corner, remember to take an angle from the angle tree and help a family in need.

During this season may the principals of Charity and Brotherly Love be especially strong in our hearts. And may you and yours have a Happy and Blessed Christmas.

Eric Farmer, Esteemed Leading Knight
